Tung Do

Tung Do

Tung began attending SCAC late in his high school years. He embraced Christ in 1991 and was baptized in 1996. He has always had a passion to see young people embrace and follow hard after Jesus. Tung began serving the youth as a counselor in the high school fellowship, New Life, before attending seminary at Multnomah University. In 2005, he returned as the youth pastor for the English congregation. In his spare time, he loves hanging out with his beautiful wife, Julie, watching good movies, reading books, and playing tennis.

Steve

Steve Stauffer

Steve has been a Children’s Pastor for more than two decades. Through the years his passion for seeing Jesus transform the lives of children and families has continued to increase. He believes “…it is better to build children, than to repair men and women.” Although his official title is Children’s Pastor, his favorite title is “Dad”! Steve’s son Erick is a gift from God who brings him great joy and keeps him grounded. When not at church, Steve can be found at one of my son’s sporting activities, racing toy HO scale slot cars or hunting for treasures at local thrift stores.

Angel Chang

Angel has been attending SCAC since 2003. Born and raised on the east coast, she enjoys the beautiful landscape of the PNW. She graduated from seminary with degrees in education & marriage and family counseling. She currently oversees the Relational Mission focus of SCAC and is passionate about God’s heart for justice & mercy. Angel currently works for Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission. One of her favorite things to do is to spend fun family time with her husband Roy and their two beautiful children. She also loves to read, run, plan events and cheer for the Seahawks!!!

Lisa Chu

Lisa Chu

Lisa was invited to attend SCAC at the time of its infancy. She was saved through a ministry at the church and eventually met and married Stan (her late husband). Together they raised three children: Mike, Emily and Chris. Lisa has served in different capacities including teaching preschool, and being a counselor in the middle school, high school, college, and young adult fellowship. She enjoys cooking (& definitely eating!), watching movies, and babysitting her little grandson, Joshua.

Minda Eng

Minda Eng grew up in Beacon Hill and at SCAC. She remembers all the aunties and uncles that help her transition from just knowing the Bible Stories to actually experiencing God’s love. She has previously served in the fellowship core staffs while in high school and college and on Children’s Ministry core team. She hopes God can continue to use her to help develop a love for God and a heart for the Church and the community. Minda works as a Business Analyst at Nordstorm and in her spare time loves to cook and bake.

Jon Gee

Jon is a Seattle native who grew up at SCAC. He has seen God work powerfully in both his own life and in the lives of others at SCAC. He currently serves on the Governing Board and English Deacon Board, and also teaches at TheFoyer.

Jon sensed a call to share the goodness of Jesus through a life of ministry and recently started pursuing his Master of Divinity at Seattle Pacific University. His day job is spent hunting corporate tax cheats as a Revenue Agent at the IRS.

Jon is married to his beautiful, long-suffering wife Pauline, who also serves with him at TheFoyer. In his dwindling spare time, Jon tries to keep fit by pestering Pastor Roy to cycle with him with the intention of drafting off of his spiritual mentor.

pauline

Pauline Lee

Pauline was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. Though she accepted Jesus as her Savior when she was in elementary school, it was in 8th grade when Christ started becoming real to her. She has served on leadership in several campus ministries including ABF at University of Arizona (during her undergrad…go Wildcats!), and AACF at University of Washington (during pharmacy school… go Huskies!). She currently serves in theFoyer with her husband Jon and enjoys being the hostess to parties of all kinds. In her spare time Pauline likes to cook, craft, and puzzle.

Missions Director

alycia

Alycia Lee

Alycia and her husband Hyland first started attending SCAC in 1992, and have been happy to raise their two boys Jeremy and Bryan as part of this church. Alycia’s first Mission trip was to Kenya shortly after graduating from college. That trip started a long journey toward sharing the Hope we have in Jesus with others, as well as the heavy responsibility to use our abundant God-given resources for Kingdom values.
