COVID CARE RESPONSE TEAM

We care about our community both inside and outside the church.  Those most vulnerable (individuals 60+ with chronic health issues and pregnant women, low-income families) could use a little more support during this time of uncertainty.  We want our community to know that the love of God never changes no matter the circumstance and that not everyone is looking out for their own interests.  As Jesus washed the feet of his disciples, we are humbled and privileged to wash the feet of others.

As part of the SCAC care response team, you will be assigned to shop, purchase and deliver a bag of groceries to a worthy recipient in our community that includes…

  • Members 60+
  • Expecting mothers
  • Low-income families affected by the economic impact of COVID-19
  • Frontline healthcare workers
  • Frontline social workers
  • Families with young children

We will provide you instructions for a minimum contact, safe delivery.

We ask that you purchase the items with your own funds and buy organic where possible (Trader Joe’s is a great, low-price option).  Let’s wash each other’s feet and in doing so, we all win together for God and our community.
